What's involved? What do you get out of it?
You get a free advance copy of the book, which you can read. If you could write a few-paragraph review of the book, to help prospective buyers decide whether they'd like to read it, that would be super. I hope you love the book, but do be honest. You can e-mail me the review for safe keeping, and when the launch is immanent, I'll e-mail it back to you with instructions on how to post it at Amazon. It's useful to have some reviews ready to go on the official launch date.
It would also be cool if you could talk it up among your friends, relations, and network acquaintances.
I'm setting up a Facebook group for the launch team. If you're a Facebook user, I'm happy to send you an official invitation to join that group. The PDF version of the novel will be available there. "Necessary Lies" is the tale of a couple who can legally marry only on one side of the Potomac River. They commute in opposite directions from their home in the Northern Virginia suburbs. On that one horrible day when their daughter Miranda is involved in an accident, they manage to get her transferred across the river to where both parents can be involved in her care. In the confusion, the younger daughter is forgotten by both of her preoccupied moms.
This is the tale of what to do next when your life collapses under the consequences of necessary lies.
